2009 Highlights:
1. Spending 10 days with two of my oldest and best friends in Kentucky
2. Participating as a World War II army nurse at three living history events
3. Seeing all my grandparents and sister several times
4. Planning a return trip to Romania
5. Making a B in a college math class
6. Calling Bingo and decorating Christmas trees at the assisted-living facility
7. Beginning my senior year in college
8. Walking the dogs
9. Getting lots of new cousins :)
10. Learning more about people---the disappointments, manipulation, sorrow, selfishness, pride, anger, and hostility, as well as the good---compassion, patience, civility, kindness, honesty, integrity, endurance, friendship, and loyalty.
I bid thee farewell, 2009! You were a good year for the most part, and I'm looking forward to what 2010 brings! :)
