~Bread & Romanian chicken salad~
This was described as a 'Mexican dish', but it tasted more like vegetable soup with grilled chicken on top. ha ha

~Apple streudel~

Cheese streudel--No one else really liked this dessert, but I ate both of my pieces. As long as the meal/dessert does not involve liver, I will eat it. :)

Romanian pizza--it is actually quite tasty even without tomato sauce!

Walking to the Italian restaurant in Barlad this evening (Thursday).

Appetizer at the Italian restaurant: mushrooms, tomatoes, and liver pate (Gag!). To be adventurous, I tried the liver. It lived up to my expectations---disgusting! :)

This was the best meal I've eaten in Romania: Italian food prepared by a man from Italy who knows how to cook!
