Tutova, Romania

The clinic
Playground at the clinic
Cherry tree behind the motel; they are delicious!
We were walking back to the motel along the dirt road when I spotted a tiny snake. I calmy said, "Snake" in order to quietly warn the others but not cause mass panic; that didn't work too well. ha ha :) The rest of the team screamed and ran off. I just stood in the middle of the road chuckling as I took a picture. :) When you grow up with a six-foot snake in the barn, an 8-inch one is nothing to be feared.
The motel--it actually resembles a large house more than a motel.
We eat lunch at the motel now, but when I was here in 2007, we ate lunch in this building across from the clinic.
Flowers on the grounds of the hospital

The owner of the motel also has cows.
The roses are beautiful!

Walking back to the motel from the clinic--the cars get too close for comfort sometimes, so I occasionally walk in the ditch.
One of my new friends. :)

There are dogs all over the place in Romania. I forgot to bring dog treats with me this time, so I have been feeding them the leftovers from supper. :)
The motel is surrounded by fields. I was sitting outside this morning enjoying the sunshine and thinking about how much it looks like home in Missouri.
Many of the vegetables we eat come from the garden beside the motel.
