Ode to the Wok

According to Wikipedia, the wok is a versatile, round-bottomed cooking vessel originating in China. The westernized woks have flat-bottoms so they can be used on electric stoves.
The origins of the wok are certainly interesting. However, a wok history lesson pales in comparison to the delicious food produced by the aforementioned cookware.
What other cookware could hold 2 onions, 2 carrots, 1 small box of fresh raspberries, approximately 15 mushrooms, and an entire head of broccoli without spilling over the sides--all while wafting delicous aromas up the nose of the chef and turning the ingredients into a satisfying meal? None other than the hard-working wok, I say!
