| The St. Mary River is within a ten minute walk of where my co-workers and I live. We had the best time swimming and floating the river during the hot summer months! I was unaccustomed to a river that was crystal clear and free of poisonous snakes. It was a welcome change from the muddy, snake-infested rivers and lakes of the south. :) |

| The water is ice cold! You can't really wade into it, you just have to jump and be shocked by the freezing temperatures. |
