Crepes and Charles M. Russell

September 21st, 2012
Shelby and I ate breakfast at Faster Basset Crepe Haus in Great Falls, Montana on the first morning of our road trip. I had eaten at Faster Basset earlier in the summer and had fallen in love with the place. They serve delicious homemade crepes of all kinds and there are paintings of basset hounds everywhere---what's not to love?

Shelby ordered the bacon and egg breakfast crepe and nutella dessert crepe.
I enjoyed the roast chicken and spinach crepe and lemon curd crepe.
After breakfast, we toured the Charles M. Russell art museum. We found the children's room in the museum and had to take a picture. :)

We were also able to tour Charles Russell's original art studio. The man led a fascinating life, that's for sure! He is now on my list of people I would invite to a dinner party. Yes, I keep a mental list of deceased people I would have loved to meet and have over for dinner.

It's Bullwinkle! :)

Shelby is practicing her curtsy just in case she ever meets the queen.
Charles M. Russell
