My friend Dani can attest to the fact that when the following song preview for Despicable Me 2 came on in the theater last summer, I could not stop laughing. The trailer played again a few months later and I laughed so hard I snorted, which only made me laugh more. Then I realized I was the only person on the back row in the audience, no one else was laughing, and everyone knew where the hysterical laughter was originating. It was one of those moments when an invisibility cloak would have come in handy.
Since I can't make it through the two-minute preview without laughing to the point of asphyxiation, the full-length movie arriving in theaters this July doesn't bode well.
