I just finished watching my Christmas Eve tradition. I need Kleenex every time, even though I've watched it more times than I can count. The character of George Bailey has always mirrored many of my feelings (wanting to be somewhere else, second guessing, feeling as if life isn't being spent on anything worthwhile, a day late and a dollar short), so I absolutely love the story! It is a wonderful, wonderful life, even in the midst of uncertainty, loss, and disappointment.
And as Clarence said, "No man is a failure who has friends."
