| Deeply contemplating family life this evening left me speechless. Somehow I was born into a family that turned out to be just about as stable and loving as humanly possible--Good parents, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents--no instability, chaos, grudges, or hostility among us. In 26 years, I have never known a single minute without support, encouragement, love, appreciation, and affection from both my immediate and extended family--all of them--even when I didn't deserve it. They show me God's love in human form. I can't wrap my mind around it. |
