Mom, Dad, and I spent Christmas with Shelby. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning on Christmas eve and departed in the afternoon on Christmas day, so it was a very short visit, but we all had a wonderful time together, nonetheless. We ate at Fava's for lunch on Christmas eve, visited an antique store, and drove out to look at a pre-Civil War mansion.

On Christmas day, a friend of Shelby's from work joined us for lunch. She brought along her Chihuahua puppy, Abby. Who knew a 15oz. dog could liven up the festivities so much? Abby was so tiny that she fell over when she sneezed! She was not to be underestimated, however. Her teeth were needle sharp on the occasions she decided to sink them into my ankle rather than her favorite stuffed toy.
