Going-to-the-Sun Road

I drive across Logan Pass (Going-to-the-Sun Road) to reach the west side. I have been blessed to worship with the Columbia Falls congregation every Sunday. The drive takes  around 2 hours due to the winding mountain roads and adverse driving conditions. However, the views are some of the best in the world!
You must pay attention at all times on the Going-to-the Sun road. If you don't, you will be taking an unexpected trip over the side of a mountain to the valley a few thousand feet below.

Earlier in the season, there were too many waterfalls to count along the road and cascading down the surrounding mountains.

I love to roll down my car's windows and listen to the roar of the falls as I drive. :)
Bird Woman Falls--this picture was taken in June. The falls around here are now non-existent or just trickles of water. They will be raging waterfalls again next spring when the snow begins to melt.
