~Like father, like daughter...leading the luggage cart cavalry charge at the hotel~~The thoughts and ramblings of a girl called Meriwether; adventurous, prone to uncontrollable laughter, drinker of hot tea, and a devoted fan of BBC dramas. "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn-out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!"

Nashville Living History Event--October 24th, 2009
I participated in the Tennessee Living History Festival in Nashville. Many time periods were represented, with the Civil War having the largest display. I met Abraham Lincoln and General Patton. :) It was cold and rainy for most of the morning, but then the sun came out and a beautiful day was enjoyed. Mom even enjoyed looking at all the interesting exhibits! :)
