A Day at the Clinic

The team arrives at the clinic at around 8:50 each morning. At 9:00 a.m., the bottles are handed out and all the children eat breakfast.
10:30 a.m.: Snack time for the toddlers

After breakfast, it is time to play...

and laugh...

and play some more. :)

Diapers are changed at 11:30 and the lunch bottles arrive at noon.
The team returns to the motel at 12:30 p.m. to eat lunch and take a nap. We walk back to the clinic at 2:45 p.m. in time to feed the kids their afternoon bottles at 3:00 p.m.

The babies are usually quiet and sleepy in the afternoon. The toddlers spend their afternoons in the pre-school room playing, stealing toys from each other, and throwing tantrums. :)

Mobile room: The noise level in this room can be deafening at times with so many children running around and screaming!

Diapers are changed again at 4:00. Supper is served between 5:50 and 6:00 p.m. Daria fell asleep during dinner yesterday. :) The team eats at the motel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, we leave the clinic at 4:30 p.m. and eat supper in Barlad.

We return the children to their cribs at the end of the day and most of them burst into tears.
